As an early childhood music educator, Shannon was trained in Orff with the Royal Conservatory of Music as well as the Musikgarten of Guelph. She is a graduate of the Sheridan College Musical Theatre Program.
Shannon has performed internationally as a singer, actor and dancer with the North York Performing Arts Centre, Huron Country Playhouse and Openwide International.
She has contributed vocals to several recordings on the Somerset Entertainment label and was a featured soloist on the soundtrack to Mel Gibson’s film “The Passion of the Christ”.
Shannon is a gifted performer who enjoys combining her passion for music with her love of children. She believes that children are born with innate musicality and is committed to fostering development and community in her young students. She is a singer songwriter, plays the harp and is a proud mother to a 4 year-old daughter.
