Amy McCann studied classical guitar under Bruce French of Guelph and Professor Garry Antonio of McGill University. She has performed internationally and was invited to give a guitar recital in 2013 for the Ealing Guitar Society in North London. While living in Montreal, she was a regular performer on guitar and violin at St. Andrew and St. Mark’s church, and was guest mandolinist for Opera McGill’s production of Don Giovanni under the direction of Alexis Hauser. She has also performed as a classical guitar soloist last spring for the Fiesta Latina ceremony with the Grand Philharmonic Chamber Singers in Kitchener.

Amy also performs in the folk-rock genre, and was an invited guest tot he Songs of Nick Drake show that toured in 2015, and performs regularly in Southern Ontario with her acoustic trio The Hazy Maidens, and The Andy Hughes Trio. In addition, Mrs. McCann is a registered teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Ontario, and enjoys preparing students for examinations and music festivals.
