Adult Lessons at JamSchool

The adult lesson program at JamSchool has been one of the fastest growing parts of our school over the past few years. As with the kids programs, the real secret is the emphasis on community.

Meet other people who are also learning and improving on their instrument

We really try to encourage all of our adult students, regardless of skill level, to get involved with our events so they can meet other like minded folks who are also working on getting better.

Adult Showcase: Perform on Stage

JamSchool offers band classes for adults complete with opportunities to perform on stage with professional quality sound and lighting. We have several 19+ events each year that let our adult students showcase their talents and meet other adult learners in a fun and relaxed environment.

One of our favourite events at JamSchool is the Adult Student Showcase. This licensed event is an evening of performances by our adult students and bands. It is so heartwarming to see the support in that room for every performer that takes the stage. Some students may not feel ready to perform but benefit from the experience of watching others so that eventually they too will try their hand at performing.

Adding music to your weekly routine will keep your mind sharp and bring countless hours of enjoyment. Playing an instrument can help improve your memory, foster creativity, release stress, and creates a sense of accomplishment! Ready take your lessons to the next level?
